 Please Note:

  • Where the procedures involving ionising radiation are in addition to standard clinical care(as determined by the Principal Investigator and an Eastern Health Radiation Safety Officer) then a Victorian DHS authorised Medical Physicist must assess the ionising radiation component of the research project.

  • An authorised Medical Physicist only can provide a radiation risk statement for the Participant Information & Consent Form.

  • If submitting an assessment report from another institution’s authorised Medical Physicist please make sure this report is consistent with Eastern Health practice.
