Surgical and Intensive Care Services

Eastern Health provides a range of inpatient and outpatient surgical services at Angliss Hospital, Box Hill Hospital, Healesville & District Hospital and Maroondah Hospital. The range of services includes general and breast surgery, obstetrics and gynaecology, orthopaedics, plastics, urology, vascular, intestinal, chest and ear, nose and throat surgery.

Eastern Health continues the relationship with the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital that enables the provision of specialist eye, ear, nose and throat services to the Outer East. This comprises outpatient and day surgery clinics at Maroondah Hospital.

Intensive Care services are provided at both Box Hill Hospital and Maroondah Hospital.
