A gift to an Eastern Health Hospital
All Eastern Health's hospitals are publicly funded and dependent on government and community support. We are often asked how the community, in particular past patients can support their local hospital.
Eastern Health has six main facilities from which services are provided:
- Angliss Hospital, Upper Ferntree Gully
- Box Hill Hospital, Box Hill
- Maroondah Hospital, Ringwood East
- healesville & District Hospital, Healesville
- Peter James Centre, Burwood East
- Wantirna Health, Wantirna
You can direct your donation to an Eastern Health hospital or a specific area of care; perhaps this donation is going towards something dear to your heart.
Regular/pledge giving
You may wish to support our life saving work by contributing towards education and research or purchasing new equipment on a regular (monthly, quarterly or annual ) or a one off basis.
A gift in celebration
Instead of presents why not ask your guests to honour your special occasion through a donation to Eastern Health? Their gift can make an enormous difference in the lives of many.
A gift in memory
Families sometimes choose to give a gift in the memory of a loved one, this can be done by directing the donations raised for example at the funeral to a service specified by the family. When making funeral arrangements just advise the funeral director that in lieu of flowers you would like friends and family to be able to make a donation to the fund at the funeral service. Eastern Health will notify families of the amount raised and the names and addresses of all those who have contributed.
Bequests
You may wish to consider leaving a lasting legacy, a bequest in your will can be a gift to future generations. It is a simple process and your solicitor can assist you in making the necessary arrangements.
