Investigations to be sent with the referral	• Thyroid conditions - Thyroid function tests TSH, T3, T4. If Hyperthyroid a Technetium Thyroid Scan is often helpful. • Ultrasounds of the thyroid are not helpful unless the concern is thyroid cancer. • Diabetes mellitus - HbA1c, fasting lipids, LFTs, UEC, FBE 24hr urine for albumin and protein
