Visitors
are welcome at the Hospital as it is recognised that they play an important
role in the provision of support to patients. As the welfare of the
patient is a major priority, it is necessary to place restrictions on
visiting to enable patients to receive adequate rest.
Visitors are asked to ensure that child visitors, for their own safety,
are under the supervision of a responsible person at all times whilst
on the Hospital site.

Coronary Care Unit
10:00
a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Immediate relatives only may visit an acute patient at any
time, subject to the discretion of the Clinician in Charge.
Intensive Care Unit
Visiting
is permitted throughout the 24 hours.
However, to maintain patient privacy and confidentiality for all patients,
visitors are asked to refrain from visiting during doctors' rounds
which are usually conducted between
9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
While a patient is critically ill, we suggest that visiting is
restricted to immediate family only. As the patient's
condition improves, visitors may include extended family and
friends. Limited space around the bed area restricts
visitors to two at any one time.
