The
Paediatric Unit of the Box Hill Hospital caters for children from 4
weeks to 16 years of age.
We recognise
the special needs of young patients and their families. In addition
to providing a friendly and comfortable environment (to help your child
feel at ease in hospital), we offer sleeping facilities for a parent
or caregiver whenever the need arises. We encourage parental involvement
wherever possible.
The planning
and care of your child before and during their stay is provided by a
skilled team of health professionals who share a commitment to meet
the particular needs of each child. We believe that recovery is a shared
role between parents, nursing and medical staff.
We look
forward to meeting you and caring for your child.
