Gynaecology and Women's Health Services

The Gynaecology Department offers the following services:

• Gynaecology - The primary role of gynaecology clinic is to see women who may require surgery. They can be assessed and placed on the waiting list if appropriate.

• Oncological Gynaecology - a range of services provided by Dr Tom Manolitsas and an integrated team including the Box Hill Hospital Oncology Unit and the Radiotherapy Unit

• Laparoscopic Surgery - for conditions such as endometriosis, are provided by a team of leading laparoscopic surgeons

• UroGynaecology - assessment and treatment of women with urinary problems

• Infertility - Primary assessment and diagnostic laparoscopy. Tertiary treatment of IVF, insemination and ovulatory induction are provided in conjunction with Monash IVF, Clayton and Richmond.
