Patients admitted to the Rehabilitation & Aged Care Unit have access to occupational therapy services. They are referred automatically on admission to the unit.

Patients on the Community Bed Program are referred for follow up occupational therapy by the treating therapist on the ward, or on the rehabilitation unit. Direct referral can be made by the rehabilitation specialist or the geriatrician.

Patients are referred to PATHS (Patients At Their Home Service) by the coordinator of the service.
Outpatient Services

There is a limited service for outpatients. At present patients can be referred for thermopastic splinting by their GP.

Cardiac Rehab Program referral for specific occupational therapy needs, can be made through that program's coordinator.
