Serving a population that is growing and aging, the demand for the services that Angliss Hospital provides has never been greater. With your help we can improve your access to the health services that you need.

Make a tax deductible donation

Donations from the public are used to buy new equipment for the treatment and care of patients. Modern medical equipment is designed to get results faster, more accurately, and with safer outcomes. This often means that the length of time a patient needs to stay in hospital can be reduced - so patients waiting for treatment can be admitted sooner.

Hospital Auxiliaries

The Hospital Auxiliaries are a group of volunteers who have been supporting the hospital since it began in 1939. Whether it has been through the sale of second hand clothing at the Hospital's Opportunity Shop, through market stalls, function catering, raffle ticket sales, or sales from the hospital gift shop, the hundreds of thousands of dollars raised have assisted Angliss Hospital in providing a quality healthcare service to our community.

Through the auxiliaries, many of the members have formed life long friendships and have gained a great sense of satisfaction from the work that they do.

To ensure the longevity of the Auxiliaries we would welcome new members who could assist them in their work for the hospital.

Upper Ferntree Gully Auxiliary raises funds for specified equipment for Angliss Hospital. They are currently seeking volunteers who can cook, sew, knit, do craft or are willing to help with raffles, stalls, stocktaking, re-stocking shelves in the Hospital Gift Shop and book stand.

The Auxiliary meets on the 4th Wednesday of the month at 10.30am. Subscriptions are $2 per year. Enquiries please contact: Secretary: Mrs Maxine Lane on 9758-3087 or President: Mrs Maureen James on 9763-8463

Ferntree Gully Auxiliary’s main source of fundraising is through the running of an Opportunity Shop at Shop 4, 101 Station St, Ferntree Gully. They are currently seeking volunteers to assist with the day to day running of the shop. All funds raised are donated towards the purchase of vital medical equipment

Their annual fashion parade of pre-loved goods will be held this year on Tuesday 8th July, and their annual Christmas in July Sale date is yet to be decided but watch this space!!

Subscriptions are $5 per year. For further details please ring Secretary Denise Gravatt on 9763 4803.

The invaluable contribution that Hospital Auxiliaries make to the Hospital and the wider community can not be underestimated, Hospital Auxiliary members are a committed team of men and women who give generously of their time and spirit to the staff, patients and community of Angliss Hospital. By joining an Angliss Hospital Auxiliary, you too will be making an invaluable contribution to your community.
