Parking for ACM Course |

Please be advised that Car Parking is a priced scarcity in the Box Hill precinct and the hospital is no exception. We regret the inconvenience. On weekdays there will be no access to the Staff Car Park (controlled by a secure boom-gate). On weekends and public holidays there will be free access to the staff car park (access from Arnold Street). You will require a code to punch in to raise the barrier. Please note that this code will NOT work on weekdays. This code will be valid only on weekends. Registrants will have the code emailed to them a few days before the course. Course registrants are advised NOT to park in the on-street parking slots if they are controlled by parking meters, as these meters are ravenous and have to be topped up periodically. Conveners’ tip on Parking: You may park in the under-ground car park at the newly commissioned Epworth Eastern Private Hospital just across the road from Box Hill (access from Arnold Street). There will be a sliding scale of charge with a maximum daily rate of $20.00 (rate as of May 2007 and subject to change). Please note that the course venue, Box Hill Hospital, is only a short walk from the Box Hill Railway station (Lilydale – Belgrave Line) and an even shorter walk from the Box Hill Central tram terminus. International and Interstate registrants are advised, when they choose accommodation, to prefer transport convenience to geographical proximity (i.e. it may be beneficial to stay in the surrounding suburbs, rather than in Box Hill, provided you have suitable tram or rail link).
