We are a service provided by the mental health program to the acute medical, surgical and woman’s health services of Eastern Health.
Consultation Liaison Psychiatry is a subspecialty of psychiatry that works at the medical interface providing; psychiatric assessment, advice, support and recommendations for consumers with mental health issues within acute general hospital inpatient settings and provides services to selected specialist outpatient clinics.
Referrals to Consultant Liaison Psychiatry service are only accepted from the current inpatient treating team.
