If so then Mums In Training is for you!

“Mums In Training” is an antenatal exercise program run by Eastern Health Physiotherapists.

Exercise during pregnancy has many benefits to mother and baby:

  • Controls gestational weight gain
  • Reduces the risk of pregnancy related conditions such as gestational hypertension and gestational diabetes
  • Improves mood and sleep
  • Prevents and reduces pelvic girdle and lower back pain during pregnancy
  • Pelvic floor exercises during and after pregnancy greatly reduce the risk of pelvic floor dysfunction.

Where:  

 

Virtual Groups via “Zoom”

Face to Face sessions at Eastern Health Angliss  (Community Rehabilitation building).

When: 

Wednesday evenings at 5:45pm and 7pm

 

Cost: 

$10 per session (Note: If you are experiencing financial hardship please inform the receptionist. Access to these classes will NOT be denied on these grounds)

Priority is given to health care card and pension card holders, as well as low income earners.
