Clinical trial recruitment opportunities
The contribution made by participants to clinical trials is greatly appreciated. Eastern Health has considerable experience in the conduct of clinical trials. Clinical trials may be initiated by Eastern Health clinicians or by external bodies such as pharmaceutical companies. Participation in clinical trials is entirely voluntary and all research undertaken at Eastern Health is approved by the Eastern Health Research and Ethics Committee (or equivilent).
Volunteer participation is clinically assessed by an experienced team of doctors, nurses and research staff. There are no additional costs associated with participation and all participant information is kept strictly confidential.
The following programs and projects are currently seeking volunteers to participate in clinical trials: See further information on specific trials and projects.
