Visiting hours
Visitors are welcome at the Hospital as it is recognised that they play an important role in the provision of support to patients. As the welfare of the patient is a major priority, it is necessary to place restrictions on visiting to enable patients to receive adequate rest. Visitors are asked to observe patient rest periods between 2.00pm to 4.00pm and where possible do not visit during these times
Visitors are asked to ensure that child visitors, for their own safety, are under the supervision of a responsible person at all times whilst on the Hospital site.
Some wards will have flexible visiting hours depending on patient needs. Please speak directly to the Nurse Unit Manager regarding visiting hours if applicable.
General wards
11.00am - 2.00pm
4.00pm - 8.00pm
Critical Care Unit
Visiting hours to be negotiated with nursing staff
Mental Health Inpatient Wards
10.00am - 12 midday by arrangement with staff
2.00pm - 8.00pm
