The main hospital entrance opens for visitors from 7 a.m.
Visiting Hours
Visitors are welcome at the hospital as they play an important role in the provision of support to patients. The welfare of patient is a priority so it is necessary to place restrictions on visiting hours to enable patients receive adequate rest.
Visitors are asked to observe patient rest periods between 12.30 p.m. to 2 p.m. No visiting is permitted during these times.
Visitors are asked to ensure that children are under the supervision of a responsible person at all times for their own safety while at the site.
Some wards may have flexible visiting hours depending on patient needs. Please check this with the nurse unit manager.
Visiting Hours for Wards
General
2 p.m to 8 p.m.
Maternity
2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Partners/ support persons may visit at any time with the exception of rest time:
12.30 p.m. to 2 p.m.
Children's ward
10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Parents or guardians are unrestricted.
